4/41 Belmore Terrace would suit a couple who are looking for a quiet space to escape to, or indeed an independent traveller who just needs space for themselves.

There is one bedroom with a Queen bed, bathroom with shower, small kitchen and dining area with seating for 4, and a small TV room/reading nook at the front of the apartment.

There is no air-conditioning but there are fans, and the Mediterranean-style ...wrought-iron doors that open out from the TV room onto the driveway can be locked overnight to allow the cooling sea breezes to flow through. The house has stone tiles which also help to keep the apartment cool.

The kitchen features an integrated oven and single drawer dishwasher, a microwave, and there is an original Vitamix for making smoothies and fruit juices. There is a pantry stocked with items for guest use, including a full spice rack.

Out the back of apartment, you’ll find a shaded outdoor area, with outdoor table and benches and a day-bed that has been created from ropes and canvas from a yacht that once belonged to the owner. There is a BBQ and a misting fan to keep you cool while you relax on the day-bed.

The apartment really does invite you just to switch off and ignore the outside world. There is no Wifi, but the TV in the kitchen/dining room receives satellite TV. The TV in the nook doesn’t receive any signal but there is an extensive collection of DVDs, should you need them. Or simply curl up and enjoy a good book.

Parking is off-street. There is no pool but you are literally a one-minute stroll to the nearest beach access point, leading to the patrolled Sunshine Beach. There is an outdoor shower for washing the sand off after your visit to the beach.

Stroll further around the corner and you’ll find yourself in the heart of Sunshine Beach Village, with a good selection of cafes, restaurants and bars on offer – the Sunshine Beach Surf Club is at the bottom of Belmore Terrace.

If required, 4/41 Belmore Terrace can be booked in addition to the main house behind (3/41 Belmore Terrace – not suitable for children under 12 years), providing a great overflow option or for those who just want their own private space while visiting family or friends.
